PURPOSE:
This one day face-to-face instructor led class is designed to develop storage technology skills and strategies associated with managing the explosive growth of business data across the enterprise in today's networked economy.

Data Storage Strategy is the long-term direction for storing and managing information. Remember, all data is not created equal and understanding the business value of data is critical for defining the storage strategy. Moreover, buying leading-edge storage products is not always the best option for most businesses, but make sure you do not get caught out as your needs expand.

Moreover, businesses need to be aware of technology directions therefore, a data storage strategy should be based on sound capacity planning procedures and a good knowledge of business guidelines. Storage product that leaves a business locked to a particular supplier should be avoided plus much more that we have covered as a part of this session.

In a nut shell, this workshop is specially designed to enable resources with necessary skills where individuals can identify the mandatory components for developing a reliable storage strategy based on organizational business strategy.

Training will be delivered by an experienced trainer with 25+ years of career experience imparting education and training services both locally and internationally and have served international enterprise technology vendors including IBM, Fujitsu, and ICL. Our instructor holds various industry professional certifications in the space of enterprise servers and storage technologies, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, ITIL, Cloud, Virtualization, Green IT, and a co-author of 10 IBM Redbooks.

The training course flow will be a mix of lectures & classroom discussions so that participants can have a detailed understanding of various components of Cloud Storage technologies discussing different technology scenarios.

TARGETED AUDIENCE:
This course is intended for resources who:

  • Want to start their career as Storage Pre Sales Specialists.
  • Want to develop skills as Storage Consultants and Systems Integrators.
